Unlike paint, which simply dries, epoxy cures through a chemical reaction. The result is a coating that is significantly thicker, more durable, and permanently bonded to properly prepared concrete. Understanding Our Process

1. Diamond Grinding Surface Preparation
This process opens the pores of the concrete, allowing our penetrating coatings to absorb deeply and create a permanent bond — not just a surface layer that can peel or chip over time.
2. Crack & Concrete Repair (As Needed)
We then apply an engineered grout system to restore structural integrity and grind the surface smooth — creating a seamless foundation for coating.
3. Stem Wall Coating (Optional Upgrade)
4. Penetrating Primer Application
This primer strengthens adhesion, penetrates deeply into the concrete, and locks in contaminants. For older or high-density concrete, we utilize specialty primers designed to restore surface integrity and ensure maximum bonding performance.
5. Tinted Epoxy Base Coat
This base layer forms the structural backbone of the system — delivering strength, durability, and rich color depth.
6. Full Broadcast Vinyl Flake System
We apply vinyl flakes at a rate of approximately 50 pounds per 500 square feet, achieving up to 95–100% coverage of the base coat. The result is a seamless, textured, slip-resistant surface with exceptional visual depth and dimension.
7. Polyurea or Urethane Topcoat
To complete the system, we apply a high-performance polyurea or urethane topcoat.
This final layer provides:
- Superior abrasion resistance
- UV stability (no yellowing)
- Chemical resistance
- Long-term gloss retention
- Easy maintenance
